2. Bookings & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made online via our website or by phone. Please provide accurate contact details, pickup time, and location.
  • Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to driver and vehicle availability. Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation message (SMS, call, or email) from Taxi Melbourne 13.
  • For airport transfers, please allow adequate time for traffic and security procedures. Include your flight number so we can monitor arrival changes where possible.

3. Fares, Surcharges & Payments

  • Fares may be calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surcharges (e.g., airport fees, tolls, late-night/public holiday surcharges, waiting time, extra luggage, or larger vehicles for groups).

4. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds

  • Late Cancellation / No-Show: A fee up to the minimum fare (or reasonable costs incurred) may apply if you cancel within 1 hour of pickup time or if the driver arrives and cannot locate you after reasonable attempts to contact you.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time. Keep your phone available for driver contact.
  • Seatbelts must be worn where fitted. Children must be secured according to applicable child restraint laws.
  • Please treat drivers and vehicles with respect. You may be liable for reasonable costs due to damage, excessive soiling, or cleaning requirements.
  • Declare special requirements (e.g., extra luggage, mobility needs) during booking so we can allocate a suitable vehicle where available.

6. Our Responsibilities

  • Provide licensed drivers and well-maintained vehicles.
  • Deliver professional, courteous service and make reasonable efforts to be on time, subject to conditions beyond our control.
  • Handle bookings, complaints, and lost property enquiries with care and within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Lost Property

If you believe you left an item in a vehicle, contact us with your trip details (date, time, pickup, drop-off). We will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating items; however, Taxi Melbourne 13 is not responsible for items left in vehicles.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taxi Melbourne 13 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our control (including traffic, weather, accidents, or road closures).
